CIA operative Joe tries to balance his personal and professional lives as the spearhead of the agency’s war against terrorist-based activities, etc… Mentioned in the Sovereign Awards (2024). I’ve been waiting 4 episodes to really immerse myself in this for a long time. The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift that the numerous A-list actors who contributed to the creation of this work, which, by the way, is enjoyable and appreciated by many despite mixed reviews. Many viewers have been told stories from a similar angle, but that perspective here remains exciting as you engage in a confusing but well-interwoven plot with the main female roles, each of whom confidently grabs our attention whenever they appear. Halfway through, we can’t say if this sense of urgency as we discover more and more of what’s going on will remain at the level it is now, but given the subject matter covered, the budget, and the talent pool with which they’ve managed to bring this to the screen, it’s going to be hard to miss the landing, mainly because of the series' a solid foundation.
