Original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games are featured in this animated anthology series. Video games have made the leap to the screen in a big way and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at more than 50 video games adapted into films and shows.. Clive Standen reprises his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the main character from the Space Marine 2 video game. The episode is set after the events of the game.. Featured on Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). I’ve always wanted a series like this. When I’d watch movie trailers or footage for video games, I’d often think that some of them would be peak television. I knew the creators of Love Death and Robots would nail another animated anthology series and I’m glad they were right. The Warhammer episode was definitely the highlight for me so far, I really hope to see more of it in the future. My only complaint would be that I could have been given more time for some of the episodes. There are so many solid video game stories that this show can delve into and adapt into solid episodes, the possibilities are very exciting and I’m happy they’re available. I’ve gone for a grittier, more adult tone throughout. I’m very pleased with what’s been shown so far and am excited for what’s to come… “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
